Nytis Exploration

Nytis is a Denver-based exploration and production company formed in 2003 to establish a position in strategically located North American natural gas assets, with an emphasis on Canadian reserve opportunities in excess of 100 billion cubic feet per prospect. Amongst other initial developments, the company has acquired an attractive acreage position in the Mackenzie Delta located in the Canadian Northwest Territories and holds an interest in a British Columbia gas venture with Encana, the largest independent North American oil and gas company.



In 2005, Nytis expanded its U.S operations in the Appalachian basin.



Nytis represents an opportunity for Cadent to back a proven company builder active in the Canadian natural gas market.
