GT Solar Incorporated is a Merrimack, New Hampshire-based manufacturer of capital equipment for the photovoltaic industry. GT produces equipment used to manufacture solar wafers, solar cells, and equipment used to tabulate solar modules. GT’s customer base includes leading solar manufactures such as BP Solar, RWE, and Solarworld (formerly Bayer). In addition to solar equipment, GT also manufactures specific capital equipment for the semi-conductor industry.
